Okay. Really, I am going to try to blog more about my pants/ no pants situation. I mean, we are swiftly approaching a time of year where the dilemma gets MAJOR. Spring is utter torture for me. Spring is the season where I carry tights in my purse and bore people to tears debating whether or not I need to go home and change before the sun goes down.
Additionally, in an attempt to fit into my pants and skirts, I am doing a raw vegan cleanse and blogging about it on Melissa's cleanse blog- http://green-kool-aid.blogspot.com.
I will only blog about what goes in and NOT what comes out-- but Melissa and Nano will fill that need for you if that's what you're into.

Pants No Pants 2009
Pants No Pants is back! I apologize for the hiatus.
Yesterday- January 22- no pants-
Originally was going with no pants because I wanted to wear this new blazer with his skirt I have. But by the time I got dressed, I discovered that I am now too fat to wear that skirt, so I had to change the whole outfit. But at that point, I already had on tights, so I just switched to a different skirt.
Today January 23- pants
I thought a lot about pants v. no pants today due to 1) having to go to court, 2) not having time to change before going out tonight, 3) time constraints as a result of running late and (related to 2) 4) the drop of temperature that is going to occur between now and when I go home at midnight, 1am. All the thinking may or may not have mattered, because when I reached the closet I instinctively went with the safe and accessible black pants (with over the knee socks for warmth).

Wednesday- What is it that makes the pants suit worse than pants! Why do I torture myself? Wednesday was pants until around 7 when no pants blissfully saved the day. But after dinner it was a little cold for no pants. Such a tricky decision.
Today- Conference allows me to go either way, and if I can do either, I always do...

This weekend was an almost entirely no pants affair
Pants made an appearance on Monday for my first day of work. Unfortunately, I didn't discover until halfway through the day that the hem has fallen completely out. Another reason to hate pants.

Again, I apologize. It's been very busy.
Tuesday- Pants were a mistake in valpo on Monday, so that call was remedied with no pants in Gary. Salon commented on the shoes but not the lack of pants- http://www.salon.com/politics/war_room/2008/11/04/gary/
No pants in Grant Park either. It was a pleasure to celebrate the election without pants.
Wednesday- Got tricked into pants. Regretted in all day.
Thursday- After trying on pants, went with no pants for the swearing in. Switched to pants as the temp dropped.
Today- The cold is here. I need to buy some warm skirts stat. And a target tights run is definitely in order. I weep at the though of every day in pants.

I apologize for not posting in so long. I hate to leave my public wanting.
Friday night- the weather was warm enough that Halloween could be celebrated as it should- without pants.
Saturday- all pants, all day.
Today- I am so tired of pants. Today I will wear one of my new Goodwill sweater finds of yesterday with boots and tights.
